Passing Notes...Or Not? *Bonus* Not So Good Notepassing Ideas!

The debate goes on: To pass a note in Social Studies class, or not to pass? Of course, your teachers would rather you paid attenttion and didn't pass anything around the room, but that might be a hard thing to do, especially when you are just DYING to share a secret or ask a question to your bestie! My Advice: Don't pass notes if you think it will really annoy your teacher! (lol)
But if the time is right here are some sneaky ideas you can try.
- Fold a piece of paper into thirds so the top piece touches the bottom piece. Now, write a message on the edge between the two. When you open it up again, you'll only see half the word on either the upper or bottom portion. Your friend has to match it up to read the message.
- Make a decoy! Fold your note into a fan shape, write your message and pass it over to your friend. When she opens the fan, she can read the message on the inside. Works best when the classroom is really hot! TIP: This not passing idea does not work well in January! :D
- Write your note on a tissue. Have your friend sneeze and pass the tissue to her. Just make sure you don't write on the tissue with permanent marker. It could get messy!
- Make a note "football." This is a variation on the paper airplane, but a little more reliable in terms of reaching it's target. Don't forget to write the note inside before you fold.
- Stick the note in the side of your shoe. Kick your friend's desk and wait. That's the signal for your friend to lean over and grab the note from your shoe (or sock).
- Try the original: The Paper Airplane. But don't let your teacher catch the launch of this one! It will be taken in a heartbeat!
- Write with invisible ink!
